It systematically covers the entire process, from securing initial investment to business plan development, IR pitching, and investment negotiation, empowering readers to formulate concrete action plans rather than succumbing to vague fears.

Author's Profound Insights from Theory and Practice: Dr. Ki-joun Jin's extensive experience in agri-food research, venture fund management, and entrepreneurship is deeply embedded in this book. It offers not only theoretical knowledge of fundraising but also vivid, practical know-how and insights gained from real-world challenges. The specific strategies for fund management and operation, tailored to the unique characteristics of the agri-food industry, are a significant strength of this book.

A Comprehensive Analysis of the Investor's Perspective: A common reason for startup fundraising failures is a lack of understanding of the investor's viewpoint. This book clearly elucidates what investors look for, how they communicate, and what criteria they use to evaluate company value. The candid recognition that "investment is not philanthropy" compels readers to undertake more realistic preparations.

A Meticulous Guide to Crafting a Business Plan: The book provides a detailed methodology for developing a business plan, from its importance to its core components, and offers guidance on how to write each section to captivate investors. Specifically, the differentiation strategies tailored to the agri-food sector (e.g., eco-friendly values, ethical production, integration of advanced technology) offer practical guidelines for readers to apply to their own business plans.

Embracing Rejection as an Opportunity for Growth: The book defines rejection during the investment process as "another name for growth," emphasizing the importance of learning from setbacks and rising again. This imparts a crucial message to readers: beyond merely acquiring funds, it cultivates the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience necessary for continuous challenge and growth amid uncertainty.
